The Developer Experience team contributes directly to high impact business areas. Our team’s goal is to connect our customers to the building blocks they need through familiar, repeatable patterns and approachable workflows that guide them to the core value New Relic has to offer. We are proud to be one of the first steps in a customer's onboarding experience!

We are passionate about simplifying data ingest and the post-installation experience! We are currently crafting a platform that will allow agent owning teams and external partners to define in-product install UIs and post-install experiences using configuration. This will allow us to experiment quickly with different flows and see the direct effect on customer ease of use and data ingest.

What you'll do
  • Run Features (MMFs) as the “MMF captain”

  • Collaborate with the EM, PM and any key partners to fill out the details of the MMF

  • Build an engineering plan to tackle the work

  • Present the MMF to the team and run through estimation exercises

  • Participate and occasionally lead team meetings such as team demos, standup, and technical deep dives

  • Mentor engineers and feel passionate about improving software by constant iteration with your team

  • Have a direct impact on our customer experiences, team processes and your peers

This role requires
  • 3+ years proven experience of delivering and supporting reliable production software
  • Strong React fundamentals with proven experience writing performant and reusable components
  • Strong fundamentals with modern Javascript (ES6+),TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS
  • Collaboration skills that promote creativity and inclusivity
  • Experience in a backend language such as: Ruby, Elixir, Node
Bonus points if you have
  • Experience working with databases
  • Experience in observability
  • Experience in Agile methodologies

Estimated Annual Salary Range: $ 11,000 - $ 137,000 (for Colorado based roles only)
